Southern Fizz Dirty Soda Co. started with a road trip, a little curiosity, and one amazing dirty soda.

In July 2025, Adam and Sheila stopped in Tennessee and tried their very first dirty soda. One drink was all it took—they were hooked. On the drive home, they kept saying the same thing: “We have to bring this to Horry County!”

At the time, Adam worked in construction software, and Sheila has been teaching mathematics and statistics, most recently at Coastal Carolina University. Looking for a fun business they could build together, they decided to take a leap of faith and launch Southern Fizz.

What started as a small side hustle in a cute 6-by-12 trailer quickly grew into something much bigger. Between farmers markets, festivals, school events, and community gatherings, Southern Fizz became a place where people could discover their new favorite drink and share a smile with friends and family.

Before long, the “side hustle” turned into a full-time, six-day-a-week adventure. The support from our community has been incredible, and opening a storefront felt like the perfect next chapter.

Today, we’re proud to bring the dirty soda experience to the Grand Strand and surrounding areas. Whether you’re a longtime dirty soda fan or trying your first one, our goal is simple: serve delicious craft beverages, create a fun atmosphere, and make every visit feel like you’re part of the Southern Fizz family.
